Upledger-trained CranioSacral Therapist
Healing begins from within.
There is a wisdom within you that is always working to keep you balanced: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Dr. Upledger called it Inner Wisdom; science calls it homeostasis. When life pulls you off center, your 4 Bodies compensate, and you feel it. With light, patient touch, I help your body find its way back, and help you learn to listen.

What is CranioSacral Therapy?
A gentle, hands-on approach that eases tension deep in the body and supports whole-body health.

My Approach
How my Upledger training and life experience shape the way I listen to each client’s body.

What a Session Is Like
Fully clothed, lying face up, with touch as light as five grams. Here’s how to prepare.
My approach
4 Bodies, one conversation.
Dr. John Upledger described an Inner Wisdom in each of us, and taught practitioners to dialogue with the body rather than direct it. I bring that listening to all 4 of your Bodies.
I don’t push or manipulate. I follow where your body leads and wait for it to respond.
Physical Body
Tension held in fascia and tissue, often from old injuries the body has worked around.
Emotional Body
The charge you feel, a jolt, a rush, a heaviness, before any name is attached. Its balance is neutrality, not numbness.
Mental Body
Your thoughts, beliefs, and expectations, including scripts you picked up that were never yours.
Spiritual Body
Your awareness: the part of you that can drift out of the Present Moment while your Physical Body stays behind.

About Michael
Over three decades of listening with my hands.
My path ran from energy work and spiritual training to massage and Neuromuscular Therapy, and then to CranioSacral Therapy, where the physical and the inner work finally met.

In their words
I have been dealing with neck and back issues for over 40 years. I went to see Michael only because he was so highly recommended by my Rolfer. My body is changing. It’s gradual. But it’s significant. And it continues!
Elizabeth B.
On my first visit, Michael did a great job educating me and answering all my questions. It is very light touch. I quickly felt deeply relaxed, comfortable, safe and peaceful.
Marlene H.
Michael helped me look at what I’m experiencing from a completely different perspective, through his understanding of how the body functions and its natural movement toward homeostasis.

Individual experiences. Results vary.
Between sessions
Staying centered at home.
Clients often ask how to hold onto the calm after they leave. I created 4Q Boundaries to teach simple felt-sense tools for your personal space, working with the same 4 Bodies we work with on the table. The first tool is free.
